Roadster Fan Switch Loom

One of the many issues that the Roadster suffers is with the wiring connector to the interior heater fan speed switch. The earth terminal overheats and melts the plastic housing.

People have, in the past, managed to get part of a cut off wiring loom and spliced it into their existing loom after cutting off the old affected connector.

However, as the parts become rare, there are certain people who are seriously overcharging for a small section of wiring loom. So to save you from getting ripped off, I just found the connectors, terminals and coloured wire of the correct gauges and I made brand new replacement “pigtail” looms.

It’s up to you how you splice in the cables but I recommend soldering and heat shrink.
