If you own a Roadster, at some point, the roof will shit its pants and refuse to open/close/both.

This generally happens at the absolute worst time when the storm of the century appears from nowhere.

Yes, you can manually power the motor with a 12v battery and some test leads but now the better option is to unbolt the motor, move it out the way, pop this cog in place and use a 1/4″ ratchet to manually wind the roof in the required direction. It should also work on the 450 cabrio too.
